High prolactin level

I just got a call from Drs office for my day 3 results; and was told that my prolactin and thyroid levels are high, but FSH, E2 levels are normal and abundance of follicles.
My understanding was that high prolactin levels would be there if there is low thyroid or in hypothyroid condition, but nurse said thyroid is high. May be she was trying to say TSH is high, I am totally confused. I will call tomoroow to confirm again. I have to repeat the test again in different lab. In the meantime, is there anyone who have high prolactin levels? What were/are your treatment protocals from your RE? Will my doctor hold off everything until my prolactin and thyroid levels come to normal (with medications), or they move on with IUI or IVF? Sorry I am asking too many questions, but I am totally stressed out. Thank you ladies!!!

high prolactin and thyriod levels interfere with ovulation. so i doubt your doctor will let you proceed with iui/ivf without getting those in control first.

I had a high prolactin level and my RE sent me for an MRI. Turns out I have a very small tumor on my pituitary gland.

He put me on meds that lowered my levels to below 20 so I was able to continue with IVF. The med he put me on Bromocriptine and it lowered my levels immediately.

OP here: Repeat test at lab came normal. Dr said that they have been getting abnormal thyroid values in most patients at their lab, because its sensitive (? I would think they would get a accurate results if its sensitive).. DH has great SA values, and everything is normal on my side, so RE gave green signal to start my first IUI in the next cycle. Could not wait more!!
