Not necessarily-- it does signals that you are pregnant, though! All your parts loosen up in pregnancy.

Are you having contractions? They contract all your abdominal muscles at once including your gut.

Def could be- many times your body does this to "clean itself out" before labor. Make sure you are staying hydrated.

fascinating- i was never more constipated in my life then during pregnancy... yet was able to poop directly postpartum (and am not sure if i pooped everywhere during labor as my husband won't tell me and was hard to know what was happening)
