if someone pronouns are SHE/THEY are we still allowed to use She?
I know if they are They/Them we never use the S pronouns but is it difference when they are she/they? |
| I use she / they and either are ok by me |
| She/they means you can use either she/her or they/them. Personally I use whichever pronoun is listed first so I don’t have to overthink. |
Same, I just use whichever is first. |
| I hate the "they" pronoun so if you give me another option, I will always use that one instead. |
tough sh*t lol. given social trends i'd recommend moving south or getting used to it. |
| What a waste of time - so dumb. |
Yeah, not moving nor am I succumbing to this bullsh!t. |
NP. Oh thanks. I did not understand that either. Wasn't sure why she was okay but not her. |
| Why is this posted in the LGBTQIA forum? |
They is not new. |
So walk me through the thought process. Why come onto the LGBT forum to complain about gender-neutral pronouns, which are popularly used by a significant subsection of the LGBT community? |
I believe most people would think this falls under the TQ umbrella. |

Fair enough, I guess. I just feel it's stupid -- like trying to promote atheism on the Christian boards, or going onto a gardening thread and talking about how you despise all things leafy and green. |
