Play set in side yard

Our house is on a corner lot with a tiny backyard, basically a 15” wide run spanning the back of the house. Our side yard facing the road, however, is massive. Would it be weird to put a play set there? It’s fenced in if that makes a difference.

Same with us. Kids now in college, play yard disappeared years ago (11 amd 13 or maybe 12 amd 14), but ours was in the fenced in side yard, because that's where the kids played

Weird in what sense? If it’s against the rules and someone complains, you might have to move it. Otherwise what’s the problem?

Nope, we did this. We picked a green metal set to be a little less noticeable.
