I’m curious about the classes at the Crunch Fitness near Friendship Heights (spin, yoga, strength training, etc). I know I can take a free class. But also curious about other people’s long-term experiences. Do you like the classes? They are so cheap I can’t help but wonder what the catch is? |
I used to deeply love some classes there and was sad when we moved too far to continue going. That was like 8 years ago but I still miss the classes. |
What a ringing endorsement! Thanks for responding. I appreciate it. |
I moved from the area 5 years ago, but was a member at that Crunch for years and years. I loved the classes there! Every once in awhile there would be an instructor I didn't quite connect with, but the majority were fantastic. I currently go to a high-end 'luxury' gym in another city and the classes are nowhere near as good as the ones at Crunch were. |
NP. I appreciate the feedback here. Is there anyone who has had more recent experiences? |
I loved the Crunch classes at the FH location pre-pandemic. Moved and haven't been back but if Gerald is still there, he does good classes....Michael---he was like 70 yrs old and led an amazing workout and Judy was my favorite for Spin. Miss them and hope they are all still there teaching post-pandemic. |
The classes at One Life Fitness in Tenleytown are pretty good. That gym is cheap too. |
SAME! I actually had to check the timestamp on your post because I thought I wrote it and this was a zombie thread. |
It is a busy area - is there any parking? Where do you park? |
I believe Sarah Goldberg still teaches Barre (and maybe Body Pump,?) @ that Crunch and she is great |
