If we’re talking about men in their 50s to 80s: they wear sweatshirts from the universities they attended, and have estranged children from their past life (failed marriage(s)) living in the enclaves they too used to inhabit.

When everything about them seems rich except their home. Good taste, don’t complain about rising prices, prefer high quality goods/restaurants/vacations. It’s housing where it falls apart.
