As of yesterday, Easter is 3 weeks away! What's everyone planning? Brunch or dinner? Both? For how many? Menus? Usually we do a ham, for dinner, but this year are thinking of mixing it up. I'm considering a few of the Southern Living curated Easter menus https://www.southernliving.com/holidays-occasions/easter/easter-menus and I've also seen a Peanut Butter ham recipe that looks interesting (yes, it's ham, but a different recipe than our usual).
We're doing Indian food...an egg curry, a lamb and spinach curry, and masala potatoes. For dessert we will have sliced mango, carrot halwa, and maybe some coconut barfi. Everyone who is coming likes Indian food so I am looking forward to it! We did a more traditional western European Christmas dinner and a very typical thanksgiving spread so it's nice to mix things up a bit.
Can I invite myself? This is way more interesting than MIL's menu.

We'll be doing dinner... I am a cantor and have services in the morning and early afternoon, so brunch is out. Planning a ham with Dr. Pepper glaze, scalloped potatoes, roasted asparagus, salad, and a lemon pound cake for dessert. I'm not a huge fan of ham, but DH and my picky toddlers love it, so ham it is.
