High school lunches!

Why is it that the choices can all be included in one of these categories:

1. Lemons
2. Cheese
3. Dry goods
4. pork product


I think the county has stock in lemons, yellow cheeses, and pork (pulled, patty, cuts). Why?

No idea. My kids will have gone through their entire MCPS K-12 bringing food from home, or occasionally eating out. More than half their school does the same (ES, MS and HS). Like 3/4 of the kids.

Wealthy kids more often bring their own lunches. Kids on FARMS typically do not.

School lunches are the other side of agriculture support programs. GIGO.
