I just finished Love & Other Words by Christina Lauren and enjoyed it. Amazon reviews seem to agree that the two titles have similar plots.

I liked Every Summer After much more - but I read it first and it's set in an area I am very familiar with so I connected with that aspect.

I find all Christina Lauren books just okay in general
