Maybe they should make it a package deal. They can de-zone as long as we get strict rent controls. That should maybe keep developer profiteering and slumlording to a minimum.

Good. And then what for the developers once they’ve sold their inventory? Just close up and retire? Or maybe actually develop some of the underutilized land that they have locked up for more rentals. |
Will mean condos what? Owners of apartment buildings (like Southern Management) will convert them to condo buildings and retire to Aruba? Developers of apartment buildings will instead build condo buildings? |
