Are the “women breastfeeding in public are looking for attention” posts coming from one person?

The long thread about what parenting choices people don’t understand has a frankly kind of bizarre argument going right now about whether nursing in public without a cover (pretty benign, common, and accepted at this point, IMHO) is rude and/or attention seeking. The pro-public nursing folks seem varied in tone, argument, and approach. But at this point, I suspect the “antis” are really just one (maybe two) people who answer every response with no end in sight. Can you confirm?

I locked that thread and started cleaning it up, but I not sure I have time to do much. I haven't noticed one poster monopolizing the anti-breastfeeding position, but maybe I haven't gotten that far back yet.

Ok I was wondering why my posts about breastfeeding in public were deleted?! I guess cleaning up means deleting posts about how it's normal to breastfeed in public and why it was necessary to breastfeed at my synagogue??

There were definitely some weird anti-breastfeeding in public posts on that thread including the one mentioned...

I was deleting every breastfeeding post. But, I had to go out and now I don't feel like putting anymore effort into it.

I’m the poster who brought up the fact that no one complains about flopping man boobs and nipples out in broad daylight at the beach. We only police women’s bodies. I thought it was a good point but my post got deleted too

But I get that Jeff probably just wanted to clean up the whole thread. Shame that some people can ruin a conversation with their misogynistic crapping on BF moms.

It was a great point. There were quite a few great, measured, body-positive posts but I think when they replied to the crazy person, the crazy post gets immortalized too.

Honestly given some of the language I wish we could know whether it’s the same misogynist post from other forums.
