Fear period 15 weeks?

Prior poster- puppy acting more timid and scared of things last 2 days. Is there a dear period that starts about now? We didn’t really have a dear period in the 8-12 period or if we did it was slight.

Yes, I think it's usually around 5 months.

My dog was afraid every time I went to the front door. Like, me taking the action of walking to the front door freaked her out.

So annoying!

Thankfully it passes soon. Just don't get angry. Be patient with them.

Yep. Bubble wrap that puppy and keep things as positive as possible. No negative experiences during a fear period!

Thank you. This is so odd. She is actually 4 months but there is a marked difference in her behavior. How long does this last??!!!!

They are off and on for the first two years. There's no set length.
