Carjacking in DTSS this morning.

Carjacking at the Exxon on Fenton street this morning around 630am. The car owner wasn’t injured but the car was taken by a man who was armed.

I was running lots of errands tonight from DTSS up through Wheaton, and there seemed to be good police presence everywhere. They were parked in their cruisers in various high-traffic areas like a couple parts of Wheaton Mall, that shopping center with Aldi on Georgia, Georgia/Spring, and Georgia/Colesville.

Sad that the area has become a militarized zone.

Sad that you always look for some way to disparage silver spring. I wonder why?

Why does this seem to be so concentrated around that one Safeway?

It's not. But if you don't like police, blame the criminals. As long as we keep having so many criminals, we need as many police as possible.
