Several new and interesting restaurants have opened or are opening within walking distance of our house. I only wish my calorie restrictions allowed eating out more often.

My kids are doing well in school
My wife and I are heading out to a fun date night downtown next week
Commute to work has been pretty nice
Pretty happy with our council member
A (formerly?) homeless guy I know is set up in an apartment, getting to medical appointments that are long overdue and interviewing for jobs
Flowers are blooming in our garden, although a bit early for my liking. Might make for a good year for whatever we plant.

I'm sure I can keep going if that helps.

We have super friendly neighbors, lots of families with similarly aged kids and older folks who watch out for everyone. Blooms here in the spring are amazing. We don’t have to get in a car more than once a week (and could be less but we like driving for groceries).
