Post Partum Spotting at weeks 6, 10 and 12

Has anyone else had this happen? My bleeding stopped at around 4 weeks. So when I got the first spotting at 6 weeks, I thought my period was back. I was surprised when it stopped.

At the 6 week checkup the doctor said everything looked fine. The spotting occurs just once or twice, and leading up to the spotting my body feels like it's going through PMS/bloating.

Is this my body's way of starting up my period again? This is my 2nd, and I didn't experience this with my first.

What type of birth did you have, and are you BF?

I had a c-section and was EBF, and I stopped at 4 weeks, and then had some spotting at 6 weeks. Then nothing until at 6 months I had one day of spotting, then got my period the following month.
