The Jones Road Miracle Balm —- if you own it or tried it was it worth it?

I saw the Bobbi Brown ad before stumbling across a heavily liked TikTok on how it’s more Vaseline without pigment.

I was pretty close to ordering but if it’s just Vaseline without pigment I’ll look for something else. I did use illumination serum from Iconic before and my skin is just possibly too brown (gold undertone SA) to show much shade or dewy look.

I ordered it and customized my color to be a light pink. I do use it for blush and it is fine but not different from anything else. I needed blush so NBD

I didn’t find it greasy like Vaseline but it does have a shimmer that I don’t like.

I have it in the pink color. I do like it, I use it as blush. It’s a nice color and dewey. But I wish they sold them in a smaller size. It will take me the rest of my life to finish it. Because of that I’ll likely never try another color, despite being intrigued by them.

I like it. You have to go darker than you think because it's very sheer. I am pretty fair-skinned and wear the Flushed color, Magic Hour, and Bronze colors.

it is thick and sticky. Didn't like it at all

Pretty awful. And I wanted to like it.
It feels like a partially melted candle sitting on top of my face. I cannot even imagine why this is still on the market.

Vaseline Rosy Lips is a great lip/cheek color and very inexpensive.

I like it. I'm 50, with above average skin for my age, but of course the youthful luminescence is greatly reduced. I use the dusty rose and magic hour balms, and find that they help bring back that ‘glow’.

I DON’T like the Jones Road mascara or foundation. The mascara especially is disappointing - it’s the clumpiest, flakiest mascara I’ve ever used.

well someone is cranky this morning! I for one have never even heard of this product so I'm happy that OP posted this - without her question (even though according to you she would have gotten her answer by "using the search function first") I would have missed out on this information....since you don't know what you don't know

No, it’s too comedogenic for me

I just ordered some, along with a face stick and the foundation. I’m 40+ with super dry skin and only use sheer/natural looking makeup. I believe I’m the ideal candidate for this makeup/skincare line, but we’ll see. It’s not for everyone.

A couple of things I’ve learned from my research are that some of the balms have shimmer and some don’t, and that the products are meant to be sheer but buildable. Some of the most negative reviews online are from people who went in gangbusters with the products, aiming for a full makeup look and surprised at how wrong it went.
