We had our honeymoon near Roslyn, WA and saw the Northern Exposure sets.
Have seen the Titanic tank in Ensenada. Abyss tank in SC. We did a Lost movie set tour and landed by the waterfall in the opening of Jurassic Park while visiting Oahu and Maui. Now living near Atlanta have seen lots of locations for Marvel movies and Hidden Figures. Parts of Ozark were filmed near me. I drive by one location daily. |
| Saw filming of Big Little Lies in multiple locations and many set locations on our San Francisco to LA trip a couple years ago. |
| Grew up a couple blocks away from building in opening credits of a very very famous tv show. |
| We live in the Los Angeles area. I love visiting TV and movie locations and there are many of them in the greater metro area. For Mother's Day one year, we did several locations from "Grease" (opening beach scene, Thunder Road, Rydell High [Venice High School]). I used to live in the Albuquerque area. It seems like many TV and movies are filmed in New Mexico and we could visit places (Breaking Bad locations) or areas that showed up in various movies. It's all good fun! |

I think this everytime I take Rt 50 towards DC and get the classic movie view of Iwo Jima, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Monument and the Capitol.
I took the Staten Island ferry, like Melanie Griffiths in Working Girl. Leo DiCaprio filmed in a house around the corner. What's weird is when they film a scene in the Washington Metro system or some other place we all know well, and it's clearly not that place. (Toronto? Baltimore? LA?) |

Houston.
Terms of Endearment. You take the long way to go from River Oaks to Brennan’s via GALVESTON!!! |
| Saw some Goonies locations in Astoria, Oregon. And we took the Warner Brothers tour in L.A. The "town square" has been in a bunch of stuff, including Back to the Future. |
| Cheers |
| Yes. I’ve been to lallybroch! Mind blowing. |
Movin on up? me too. |
| We go to Seaside Fl every summer where they filmed the Truman show. They play the movie on the lawn during family movie night. You can see many shops and locations from the film. |

So many are around us. We live just outside of Vancouver, BC. and there are too many movies and tv shows to name. My friends bought the Smallville farm and lived in the old farmhouse. It's still used for movies at times. I've been to many places that are in Virgin River and Firefly Lane.
Rambo is the first one I remember as a teenager realizing I was right where it was filmed in Hope, BC. Hallmark movies are often made in our downtown area where we can walk and shop across from them filming their Christmas scenes. Lots of police/car chases are filmed in an area we shop in just outside of Vancouver. We see it all the time in movies and tv shows. We have an old mental health hospital that is in many movies, usually scary scenes in the hallways and rooms. Shows like X-Files, Shutter Island, Butterfly Effect, Supernatural. Almost forgot we're about 15 minutes from a diner we go to, used in many shows. It's the diner in Riverdale. |

I've been to several of the spots used in the Lindsay Lohan Parent Trap.
I remember watching when the Breakfast Club was shooting scenes on N street (yes that dates me). |
Vancouver! We would love to go there for many reasons (beautiful area, we love the Pacific Northwest US and would like to head north from there!). But for me one big reason to go is seeing locations around Vancouver and in White Rock that were used for filming the TV series "Psych." Vancouver is such a hotbed of TV and film. Amazing how much has been and still is produced there. There are at least two websites devoted to what's filming in BC and when. (And I'm not ashamed to say I know those sites exist!) |
