Nightstand and Desk Suggestions?

What color/finish would you recommend to go with this bed? I need a new desk and two nightstands, ideally under $500 each.

I would do one in a wood finish, anything not too modern, and the other in a different color painted finish. Blue, black, green, whatever suits you.

This is leaning into the more traditional/shabby chic vibe of the bed. But you could do a similar combo of finishes and pull the bed in a more modern direction, or boho or whatever.
