Have not ridden metro in many years. Can't find old smarTrip cards.
Saw there was an app but it doesn't seem to work? Has anyone used that successfully? Can I buy plastic card at a station now (like Reston) at a vending machine? My elderly relative also wants to ride somewhere downtown and says they have a "senior card" -- Anyone know is this a thing or is that something outdated they will need to transfer to a SmarTrip card? |
| Yes, you can buy smart trip cards at every station. If your relative has a yellow senior smart trip card it should still work. |
