I bought a bathing suit

I bought a bathing suit online. It arrived. My daughter asked to try it on, so I was happy to let her try it on first. It fit (though the top was too tight in the chest for her). I was heartened. I tried it on. It fit! And she told me I had a rockin' body for a 53 year old. That felt good.

Of course it looked different on us (I'm hippier, she's chestier, I'm older, she's sexier). But I don't usually wear a two piece suit other than a tankini (I'll have a fair amount of middle showing on this suit) but at least if I chicken out I can give it to my daughter.

I think it is so strange you would let your daughter try on your new bathing suit. If you are trying to wear a style your own daughter likes then you are probably going to look foolish, even if your body isn’t bad.

I found a Lands End Tankini in Long/tall that doesn’t flare outwards and it fit too! I’m so excited. I’m gonna wear it with swim short. I’m 50 and lost a lot of weight so have too many wrinkles I don’t want seen.
