| What do you say if they ask? |
|
why not share if they ask?
I did. |
|
I have never had a school ask to know all schools where kid was admitted. I have had school ask where child will be attending and have always been honest.
I wouldn't offer info unless asked. |
| Every school we declined last year asked where our kid accepted. They just want to know. |
+1. They need as much data as they can to predict the best yield for future admissions cycles and I think it's only fair to let them know. They spend a lot of time considering your child's application. |
| Most of the schools we denied asked which caught me by surprise. Definitely wasn't expecting that question. |
| We did and were willing to share the reasons, which were well understood and received. |
| As a former admission officer, it would be great to let a school know where your child is going when you turn them down. No hard feelings - but it is helpful for reporting and understanding the current landscape. We appreciate that many things go into a decision, so please do share where you decide to enroll! |
| They have the information if the other schools are part of the application portal. They even share submitted grades among the schools. Nothing is secret! |
Can't they see via Ravenna? |
| Good lord no why would I? |
| Those we declined asked and we told them where she was enrolling and the reason. |
Why wouldn't you? They know your child has declined their school and they're just interested to know. |
Pp-why would I or why should I? It is simply not their business. |
They got lucky not to have you! |
