GA vs Greenwich Public Schools

What has your experience been with either Greenwich schools or GA? We are new to the area and our older DD was admitted to GA.

I attended Eastern Middle and Greenwich High school. GHS was excellent and had many kids go to Ivy League or similar level colleges. It's one of the richest places in the whole of the USA so advantages are easily found.

The girls from GA who got caught drinking / smoking dope etc used to get thrown out and they'd join GHS. I am female and I wasn't ever close to any of those girls but they were usually popular and carried on with the drinking / drugs at GHS as well, but with less input from administration.

We are zoned for Eastern and Riverside Elementary. How did you adjust to the size of the MS and HS?

the HS seemed huge at first - especially the student center, but it is manageable I think because of the "houses" system
