Are the Math Beasts Camps (AoPS Academy Virtual Campus) as good as the year-round programs for middle schoolers? The website says these camps don't use a textbook. Any insight would be appreciated!

I genuinely like the year-round classes but would probably not redo the camp. It was probably fun and entertaining but I guess I wanted them to study things that were more on point for the school. You may feel differently. I did think the MS contest math classes were also a good option when they were older. This summer, we're starting a new year-round course a little early.

OP here. Thanks for the responses! I was going back and forth about the enrollment. I now know to skip the camp!
