First groomer apt

how many months? suggestions on groomer?

It depends on the breed of your dog, how long the hair is, etc. We were recommended to get our dog to the groomer after they had their shots even just for a quick sanitary cut so they get used to the building, groomers, tools, etc.

Start right after first round of shots. And start right away on getting them used to being handled (brushing, touching their paws, etc.).

I can't find a groomer that will take my puppy until all her shots are done. Any recommendations???

Many puppy ailments are airborne so I would not risk taking my dog before their final shots. This year has been awful for canine influenza. I have never heard a place that allows you to come if you haven’t had a rabies shot. Maybe Petsmart but I would not get my dog groomed there!
