Looking for a Restaurant in downtown Bethesda/North Bethesda

Anonymous
I have a relative in town for the weekend and want to take them to a restaurant where we can have great food (flexible on cuisine) and catch-up where there isn’t a lot of background noise. Any suggestions?

Woodmont Grill or Mon Ami Gabi?

I like Julii and Melina in Pike & Rose. Didn’t notice too much ambient noise at either.

Woodmont Grill you will need reservations asap. It’s quite the place.

Summer house at pike and rose.
Or dark house candidate — Guardado’s?
Spanish diner would also work.

I love Mon Ami Gabi (love their salmon) but it’s pretty busy and fairly loud unless you eat outdoors. Seasons 52 is quieter.

+1 love this place - you'll probably need to make a reservation though as it's pretty tiny

Black's or Bistro Provence.

Black Market Bistro in Garrett Park is also an option.

I like Summer House for casual family dining but it is definitely loud.

Also in Pike & Rose besides Julii and Melina -- Commonwealth Indian. It's been pretty quiet when we've been there. The food is fairly standard northern Indian but it's nicely decorated so it feels fancier.

Seasons 52 fits the bill of good food and quiet
