Wha tthe heck do you do with kolrabi?

Hi all. Got some of this from the CSA share. Anybody have any swell ideas? So far I've tried making a slaw out of it.

My mother made the best creamed kolrabi. Not sure where she got the recipe from, but I think she basically steamed the kolrabi and made a white sauce to pour over it. Make sure to put nutmeg in the cream sauce.

You works really well in soups. My dad used to grow kohlrabi when I was a kid, and he used to put it in vegetable stews. It's especially good in lentil soup. Take any recipe you use for lentil soup and add diced kohlrabi.

I got some for the first time recently too. It's really good. I just cut it up in cubes and sauteed it in butter. It was yummy!

Slice thin and add to an Asian style marinated beef salad. Delish!
