Anonymous
Hi! looking for recs for transport to Breckenridge from DIA - we'll have all our gear, so not traveling lightly.
I have a resi on Peak 1 Shuttle, but $$$ holy cow.

We uber when we go to Park City, but I'm not sure how it works from DIA - what's the cost? availability?

Try the Epic Pass Group on FB - people ask this question a lot. There are other shuttles, there are drivers, or you can take a service called Bustang from downtown Denver to Breck (and apparently can take a train to the station downtown?). Or renting a car may be less expensive depending on the size of your group.

Have you booked your ticket? If not, and if you want to fly United, you can actually book a combined air-bus ticket using on United. Book to the airport code QKB on united.com

I believe the epic shuttle is $60/p/each way.

It’s not going to be cheap any way you try it.

Park city is close. Denver is a two hour shuttle from breckenridge. If you have epic passes you can get a discount on the shuttle.

The Epic shuttle. I think it’s called Epic Mountain express.

it's only 2 hours if traffic on I-70 cooperates. Getting to Breck can be much, much worse than getting to Park City.

+1

We rented an SUV (Honda pilot, AWD) through Turo for a week for $550. A shuttle for our family of 4 would have cost $800 and that is with one kid being under 12, the epic discount and does not even include gratuity for driver.

We have free parking where we are staying, but do be aware that some places have high parking fees.

We also want a car when we get there so we can hit keystone and vail, but a car is not necessary in Breck as they have a good shuttle service.

It is not a set price. The price varied based on the time and day of the week. When I priced a few random days it was anywhere from $80-125 each way before the epic discount.

If you're traveling from Denver Airport, there are a few good options to consider:
Epic Mountain Express: This is a reliable option that departs directly from Denver Airport. https://www.epicmountainexpress.com/
Bustang: A more affordable choice, but it leaves from Downtown Denver, so you'll need to get there first. https://ridebustang.com/
Silver Mountain Express: If you're looking for the most convenient and private experience, this is your best bet. https://silvermountainexpress.com/
It really depends on your budget and how much convenience you’re looking for. Hope that helps!

The shuttle is not that much cheaper than an uber and you can get the whole uber to yourselves. Price it out - you can also take two Ubers, put one person with the majority of luggage in one, and the rest of you in the other. Or you can send ahead your gear with ship skis or similar and take one uber. Hope you have good traveling weather!
