Gift suggestions for 15mo

Hi -

I have a nephew who had a baby over the pandemic, and will be visiting me soon. I'd like to get a nice gift for the child (a 15 month old girl).
He lives overseas and is here on a work trip, so it can't be too bulky. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

Soft hand puppets
Cloth or board books
Pretend play sets that are lightweight and can pack flat - could be fix-it tools, pretend food and dishes, doctor set
Small pillow pet or Squishmallow
Squigz/pipsquigz suction toys
Puzzles with <10-12 pieces

In general, for books, check out new releases or ask for suggestions at Politics & Prose, East City Bookshop, or another shop like that. Toy shops like Child's Play are great for recommendations too if you visit. Alternatively, you can look for baby/child products at Shop Made in DC, e.g., clothing, wall art, toys.
