Hi -
I have a nephew who had a baby over the pandemic, and will be visiting me soon. I'd like to get a nice gift for the child (a 15 month old girl). He lives overseas and is here on a work trip, so it can't be too bulky. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks. |

Soft hand puppets
Cloth or board books Pretend play sets that are lightweight and can pack flat - could be fix-it tools, pretend food and dishes, doctor set Small pillow pet or Squishmallow Squigz/pipsquigz suction toys Puzzles with <10-12 pieces In general, for books, check out new releases or ask for suggestions at Politics & Prose, East City Bookshop, or another shop like that. Toy shops like Child's Play are great for recommendations too if you visit. Alternatively, you can look for baby/child products at Shop Made in DC, e.g., clothing, wall art, toys. A favorite for online shopping, and easily sorted by age: https://www.fatbraintoys.com/index.cfm |
I always loved kissy kissy onesies. LOVED. Best gift imo. |

| Play silks! Google "Sarah's Silks." Easy to pack, luxurious, and get played with for years. |
| Thank you all! I got a couple of book suggestions from Politics and Prose. |
