Hoda absent from TODAY again

Has anyone heard why Hoda was absent from the today show all last week and again today? Her instagrams over the past week are memes about being brave or miracles. Hoping everything is ok with her and her family.

I think PP confusing her with Robin Roberts - both her and her partner have dealt with or are dealing with cancer. Hoda had BC a long time ago, hopefully it is not a recurrence. Could be her mom or sick child.
