Bright Horizons Georgetown

Anyone have any info/experience with BH in Georgetown for daycare for 15 month old age group? Or any experiences with other local BH centers?

They are all very high-priced because employers pay for them.

We love our BH Center! It’s not Georgetown. It’s expensive, but less than Kindercare and some other centers. Very play based and lots of great learning! They taught my kiddo how to write his name and letters in the preschool room

PP,you are easy to please, typical for bh parents. Bh is corporate style, one size fits (but more often, does not) all, kind of center. Very limited, if any, outdoor time. Crowded space, 15 toddlers, 3 teachers, nap time on mats on cold dirty floor, the usual. Go for it!

You likely haven’t put a child through a BH program. I have experience with 3 locations and it’s nothing like you describe. Honestly I think that often with childcare you get what you pay for. BH is expensive. Most parents I have met through the centers a well educated with professional jobs. They aren’t sending their children to a sub par place because they have options since price isn’t an issue for them.

Our DS went there for a couple of years. We liked it overall, and so did our DS. He still has friends from his time there. They had a great director there, although I think she left over the past 6 months or so.

if cost was of no concern, they would get a nanny. It is expensive for a daycare but that does not amount to much. Teachers get very little (like $16-$17 per hr) working there and there is a high turnover as a result.
