Do you use a “granny cart”?

And if so, which one do you recommend? I’m tired of going to the tiny Safeway near my apartment that never has anything in stock but anything further would probably require one of these. Thanks!

I use a wagon like this:

It's easy to wheel, acts as my cart while I'm shopping, then is easy to get home.

I rarely use it, but I have a older version of the Whole Foods Market shopping trolley. I’ve seen them recently at the Friendship Heights store.
It rolls easily and is light weight.

Just steal a cart like a homeless person. Return it the next day

My mother uses the traditional granny cart style and loves it, as she doesn't drive, so she walks home with her goodies in that.

DH and I have one more like this one you've shared here, except it's a "heavy-duty/manly" version. DH was the one buying it so he wanted the big "off-road" type wheels as he was very concerned about how it was going to handle curbs and unpaved surfaces at farmers markets . I can look up the brand if you want.

I have one I like very much.

Waterproof cover, high wheel base (so if there are puddles, you don't drag the cart through the water), front zipper pocket for umbrella or other things you want to keep handy.

I've had mine for 10 years and would recommend, but it's no longer made.

Here's a close approximation, with good reviews:

I would not recommend the open horizontal style cart that PP posted. A vertical cart will be much easier to maneuver, especially on transit.

I tried quite a few and this is my favorite one. Not good on stairs but no problem on the curb. It’s also a decent size.
