Family life parents information meeting for elementary school

| My kid’s ES had this meeting for 5th grade parents. I planned to go, but couldn’t. Im pretty sure MCPS uses the same slides..Can anybody share slide or info about the topic? |

| I went to my kids (a bunch of years back). There were 3 teachers and 2 parents there. It was not very useful but I believe they said it was focused on ones own body (puberty etc) rather than interactions between bodies (that part is in middle school). |

| MCPS does NOT need to make such a big deal out of the family life curriculum. It is so unnecessary. I think parents stress out more because MCPS makes it out to be such a big deal when the curriculum is the bare minimum about changes that happen in adolescent bodies. |
