Any takeout suggestions for someone with major GERD (on a high dose of meds right now trying to heal their esophagus)?
Nothing spicy, no tomato sauce, nothing greasy/fried... Thought of Sweet Green, any other suggestions? |
How about pho?
Agree with Pho and soup. I'd ask them though. I have GERD and my food triggers are definitely not the "norm". For instance I can eat tomatos and tomato based things with no problem. But give me a sandwich made with bulky bread like french bread or similar and I'm going to have issues.
Cava
I’d do homemade meat broth soup. Fast food/takeout isn’t exactly known for it’s healing properties.
Low acid foods. No tomatoes, no chili, not fried; think salads, dairy, avocados, eggs, turkey & chicken, fish
Grilled chicken somewhere with fresh salad or vegetables.

I wouldn’t do pho. You don’t know what’s in the broth.
Just get a simple entree and request no seasoning, no garlic/onions. So… like a plain grilled chicken breast with steamed veg and plain rice on the side. |
Sushi?
Udon noodle soup
OP here, thanks for the suggestions! Just wound up doing chicken over salad.
