I'm becoming obsessed

Anonymous
Ok, I think I just need to vent and hear from others that I'm being insane.

Conceived a healthy DS in 2008 on our first month trying. Conceived #2 on the second month of trying, but miscarried (baby died at 8 weeks). I haven't had my period yet, and I'm just obsessing over when I will get it, when will I ovulate, when can I try again, what if I miscarry again, what if I can't get pregnant. DH travels a lot this time of year so I'm obsessing about ovulating and missing the windown.

Talk me off the ledge, here, folks. I really want another child, and I really wanted them closer to two years apart, but I'm driving myself crazy here. How do I just relax and stop obsessing -- at least until I get my period and I can actually START TTC again?

You are me. It only took me 6 weeks to get my period back, but I obsesed every minute of every day. Then I obsessed about getting pregnant again. And when I did I obsessed again. I guess all these wasn't healthy, I just miscarried again and I am sure I will start obsessing about it all over again.
Gl to you, just wanted to let you know you are not alone. Also makes me feel kind of good to know I am not the psycho my friends and family think I am.

Advice others have given me -- ttc can be a marathon or a sprint and since you don't know which it will be treat it as a marathon. So pace yourself in your worrying and obsessing or you'll burn yourself out. You have to make the conscious decision to focus on other things when you feel yourself getting too obsessive. It's for your long term sanity.

I am the exact same way. I wanted my kids 2.5 years apart. Now, who knows what will happen. I get pregnant quickly but have had two miscarriages. If you stress, it does make things worse. I do accupuncture and it helps alot.

I've been told by my acupuncturist: "The more you think about it, the least likely you are going to conceive." I think there's some truth to that.

Does anyone have a yoga or pilates (short) video to recommend that might help with a morning relaxation routine? Thanks everyone.
