This question was asked recently.
DD, a high school senior, says it’s 100% being driven by TikTok. |
| Well, Alabama sorority rush has certainly exploded on TikTok. That might be it. |
| No, it’s because they offer instate tuition to kids from our area. |
|
My Dd said everyone on TikTok is failing
She’s the only one going to school everyday |
| Anyone stating 100% of anything is not providing factual information. |
DD says that started it. Rush Tok is a major driver of interest. And not just Alabama. |
| TikTok is a putrid cancer. We'll all be better when it's gone. |
| Or, it could be that the South has warm weather, jobs, and affordable homes |
| Gorgeous students at those schools. |
And very photogenic sorority girls |
| Or, it could be because the schools are cheaper and sometimes easier to get into. |
That was my answer to the recent question about why southern schools have become so popular. It's trendy and aspirational. |
+1 the football game days are very trendy on social media |
| More reasons to ban tik tok |
| I actually think Alabama rushtok is a huge negative to a lot of people. |
