| I wanna play too - how would you rank (high school only) Bullis, St. Andrews, Good Counsel, St. Johns, GDS, Sidwell, Maret, Potomac. |
|
Let's not.
these rankings are stupid and opinionated and useless. |
|
None of them. My ranking is:
Hogwarts Beauxbatons Durmstrang I know two of those are single-sex, but they’re the clear Big 3. |
Sorry. Going with lvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. |
Ivermorny is for strivers who can’t get into Hogwarts without a hook. |
Hogwarts is too old school. Resting on its laurels. |
| A lot of these schools are apples and oranges due to religion and/or location. How many people are applying to both Potomac and Good Counsel? |
So many at Potomac that chances of getting I are slim to none and closer to none than slim. |
I heard their outplacement to the Ministry of Magic has been horrible since Dumbledore died. Barely anyone getting into the Auror program. At best, kids are getting desk jobs. What a ripoff for the tuition they’re charging. Outplacement from local public wizarding schools is way better. |
1. Sidwell 2. Hogwarts 3. GDS 4. Potomac 5. Maret 6. St. Andrews 7. Bullis 8. St. John’s 9. Good Counsel |
|
current tier:
Sidwell --------- GDS, Potomac Maret --------- St. Andrews Good Counsel --------- St. Johns Bullis |
And no sports except Q. The grounds are lovely though. Great cafeteria and tuition includes all meals. |
Sidwell GDS Potomac Maret SSSAS Flint Hill St. Andrews St. John’s Bullis Good Counsel |
Hogwarts alumni include Voldemort and various Malfoys. That is worse than Landon. Hogwarts should be just above St. John’s |
No, Deatheaters, like drugs, bullying and cheating, can happen at any school. And Hogwarts fits right in with its emphasis on legacy admissions. |
