Where have you visited with a creepy, chilling vibe?
I remember feeling deeply freaked out in Cooperstown NY. I cannot explain it. It just felt lonesome. |
Antietam. |
Crossing into WVa driving to Snowshoe...the abandoned Seneca Rocks ES gives me the creeps even in the day time and not to mention all the other sights along the way |
Gettysburg |
Antietam, Gettysburg |
Stopping to pee in Mississippi on the drive to New Orleans. |

This joke almost writes itself... |
Catacombs in Paris |
Salem, MA |
Jerome, AZ. I went by myself during a slow time and it happened to be overcast and gloomy. It didn't help that I was staying in a hotel supposedly haunted by the ghosts of those killed in the mines. |
Taos |
St Johnsbury, VT
Las Vegas Mojave Desert - hills have eyes vibes. no thank you |
The Omni Bedford Springs. I left at 2 in the morning - could not even sleep there. The history as far as I could tell were that those were healing/sacred springs used by the Native Americans there when the white man just swooped in and took them. As soon as I stepped onto the property I felt very, very bad energy. |
Another vote for Jerome, AZ. DH is not at all easily spooked but Jerome had him rattled. It’s hard to explain. I felt uneasy there too. |
