Cost of psychoeducational testing

Anonymous
Hello,

Looking to do psychoeducational testing for my 8 year old, and am curious what the ballpark cost are these days? Also, looking for any recommendations of places.

Thanks

But doesn't provide much information about possible learning disabilities.

We did testing at George Mason and it was $1800. A friend is taking her child in a few weeks and cost is the same. But the waitlist is long.

Yes, they are much cheaper because students perform the testing

OP here, thanks for responses. Curious for those that used GMU, how was your experiences with testing and writeup post test? Would you say it was thorough?

Thanks

We had a great experience. The doctoral candidate who did our testing was very thorough and my daughter loved her. The report was longer than friends have received and it was great information. The parent session to go over the findings was excellent. We had lots of questions and they answered them in the meeting and offered email/phone contact for post appointment. She even offered to come to IEP meeting. It was a great experience

I realize this is old, but how long did it take you to get the report after the testing was complete? We’ve been waiting 3.5 months and have yet to see any report or have our appointment to go over results scheduled. Feeling frustrated.
