Does this seem too soon and a bit cold to anyone else? Her post sounds so self absorbed about her skin and wellbeing right after her daughter died. Pretty photoshopped photo too. I thought she would be in mourning and spending time with Lisa Marie's children and other close family and friends as they adjust to life without Lisa Marie.

So you realize this has likely been in the works for years, yes?
And I would never judge a parent who lost a child. She likely needs the distraction |

No. Not at all. The investors are not running a charity.
This project took 2 years of planning, money and hard-work for folks who paid Pricillia Presley for attaching her name and celebrity to their product. They have paid her already. Yes, too bad her daughter died, but she is not involved in the day to day running of the company or has to hand mix lotion and potion, that the investors or owners have to stop their launch. Also, by stopping the launch the daughter will not come back.. |
Girl this is insane. This was an insane thought. You have a very unhealthy thing going with celebrities and you need to get to the bottom of that. |
| These launch dates are picked a year or more in advance and many investors are on a timeline to have funds returned. This is the game and it must be played. |

cold? No, it shows she's being professional and is aware her business is not all about her. The launch date surely was set well before her daughter died. People other than solely Priscilla Presley are involved. Production and shipping and advertising schedules are already set, etc. That's all done more than one month before an announcement gets made for a product launch. Delaying the launch is delaying sales that have been projected and scheduled for beyond Priscillla's level. It's truly unfortunate, sad timing and I imagine it's possibly distressing to her to have to do this at this time, but it's not all about her even though her name is on the line. If she were just a cosmetic executive who had a death of someone close happen, no one would be lamenting that this was too soon or "cold" because we wouldn't know about it. |
Who cares? You should shut-up and butt out. |
| Who are you to say how someone chooses to mourn? |
| She needs money if she’s been cut out if the estate. |
+1 no judgement here. If she were a regular person, she’d expected to be back at work. |
I saw a headline that she and Riley Keough aren't speaking what with Priscilla challenging Lisa Marie's will. |
| She can’t just change the launch date, that’s not how these things work. Also, there is no right away to mourn. How embarrassing for you that you are judging how a mother mourns her child. You should never say this out loud to anyone IRL. |
+1 |
| That post was probably written and vetted weeks ago. |
| I’m not an entrepreneur and I’ve never buried a child, but I find it plausible that staying busy might be beneficial to some people while grieving. |
