dinner on Connecticut Ave between Nebraska and Chevy Chase Circle?

Yes, this is a rather specific request, but I'm meeting a friend tonight in this neck of the woods for an early dinner while our kids attend an event. I'd appreciate any suggestions for where to grab a bite. We eat anything.

Thanks!

From south to north — Rosemary Bistro and I’m Edie Cano just south of Nebraska, both good. Bucks Fishing and Camping and Comet Ping Pong on the other side. North of Livingston, Parthenon, Opal, Macon, and Little Beast; Blue 44 on the other side. Opal is the nicest and most expensive. Macon and Bucks also nice. Bucks is inconsistent. Parthenon clientele skews older. Edie Cano and Rosemary both solid.

Parthenon does feel like an older person spo, but I love their Greek salad and moussaka.

This is a good list. I would recommend either I’m Eddie Cano or Bucks.

Thank you so much for this extensive and orderly list! DCUM foodies are the best!

I actually really like Blue44. It's a good place to meet a friend as it's quiet. The food is very consistent and good for a cold day like today.

What's the point you're trying to make about it "feeling like an older person spot"? I mean, do you think the clientele will expire right before your eyes, ruining your dinner? C'mon -- this is ageism. Don't do it.

Bucks
Muchas Gracias
