No more challenges on Fitbit!

No more Workweek Hustle, Bingo, Weekend Warriors. No more trophies.

So which Apple Watch should I get?

From Fitbit today:

To deliver these improvements we will be streamlining areas of the Fitbit app and the following features will be removed on Android and iOS as of Ma‌rch 27, 2023:
Open groups will no longer be available – but you can still create a closed group with your friends and connect with other users in the Fitbit Community on our Health & Wellness forums.
All Challenges and Adventures, including trophies, will no longer be available.

Well that's a bummer. I stuck with Fitbit specifically to play Workweek Hustle and Bingo against my family all over the country.

Fitbit is just giving up.

I have had a fitbit for 5+ years now and did not even know there were any challenges. I guess there are man more users like me, so they decided not to bother. They are also super easy to cheat given how Fitbit measures steps.

The Apple Watches are all pretty much the same. Some have larger screens. I have small wrists so the larger screen wouldn’t fit right.

Just finished my February challenge of walking/running 8.7 miles or more per day for 14 days yesterday!

Now I am wondering what I was missing as a long time Fitbit user.
