Stretch Lab- anyone try it?

Anonymous
I keep getting ads for Stretch Lab - the place where you pay a monthly fee to get stretched out. Has anyone tried it? Its seems... pricey for what you get, so wondering about results. Does it really help with mobility?

I’m not familiar with it, but there are excellent stretching videos to try out on YouTube. You’ll feel great after doing them. Invest in a stretching strap.

My mother swears by it so I went with her while I was visiting to see it in action. To my eye, it looks like a medspa-ish version of a chiropractic visit. She has a lot of issues with her lower back and her neck and they focused on those areas although they did work with her whole body. For me the oddest part is that the beds they use are all really close together and so you are right next to other people as they are being stretched. It felt a little too close for comfort but my mom says she not only doesn't mind but that she often schedules with friends and they go together. Not my thing but she loves it.

Underwhelmed. There are stretching videos on YouTube that I find east enough to stick with for their free price tag. I prefer to spend on deep tissue massage. Thai massage is based on stretching and might be of interest to you.

I tried it last week—there was a Fitness Week in my city where you could try classes at different studios around town for $5. It started with doing a squat in front of a camera which was supposed to map issues with balance or something and then moved to the table for the stretching. He mostly worked on my hips and legs.

It was good stretching but the whole time I kept thinking I could get DH or one of the kids to do the same thing.
