Political t-shirt on work zoom call

Anonymous
Someone showed up on a team video call at work wearing this t-shirt. What would you do?

Think poorly of them.

Suggest to HR that they put out guidance requiring professional attire on work calls.

I might also mock that person behind his back as well as to his face and post about him on social media.

This. I’d be privately offended and publicly ignore.

I would assume he was in the military.

I'd be happy for the public announcement of their idiocy and move on.

Important to remember that people who do this are trying to provoke a reaction.

Wow I don't care which side of the fence you are on but that's totally unprofessional and I would be embarrassed for this moron.

I would be thankful this subhuman has shown everyone his true colors. Because he won't be afforded any second chances, that one. One mistake and he's out.

Make sure the inappropriate political speech is documented. He's spoiling for a fight, so maybe think about re-writing company guidelines for clarity so when he threatens to sue he won't get anywhere. Just for him. Because he's so special.

+1. Very poor judgment

Not at all, he's doing it on purpose. He's looking for evidence that he's discriminated against and then he'll sue. Prepare something legally indisputable then fire him. Before firing him, stay professional and courteous.

Internal meeting? I’d say nothing and I’d let their obnoxious and annoying personality run its course.

If they wore that to a customer meeting? I’d tell their manager, hr, and apologize to customer.

Isn’t every person who went to public school or any school quadrupled vaxed?

Measles/mumps/rubella/etc

Isn’t that like wearing a shirt that says

I’m not and idiot + I don’t eat animals or start wars?
