Mini Crab Cakes in Montgomery County?

Anonymous
I'm having a little party this Sunday afternoon and my mom suggested we serve crabcakes (among other things). I'd like to find mini crabcakes, if possible. Any suggestions? It need not be a caterer, I could just pick up takeout or would even consider frozen if good quality. Thanks!

The best crabcakes in the area are at Clyde's in my personal preference. They're small but I wouldn't classify them as "mini" but they may make them for you if you call ahead?

Your best bet is to go to Costco and get the lump crab meat and make them. They are incredibly easy.

You can buy mini crab cakes from Phillip's sea food at Costco, they are yummy. Or there's a place in Rockville, Joe's Crab Shack. They make really good crab cakes.

Oops, Im PP and it is NOT Joes Crab Shack. Sorry, the name of the place is in the Washingtonian's cheap eats and is in Rockville.

Giant makes surprisingly good mini-crab cakes. They have them at the deli counter, but call ahead, they don't have them all the time.

I wasn't thrilled with the mini-crab cakes I got at Costco, I don't recall if they were Philip's or not, though.
