Gaetz invites accused murderer to recite pledge on Capitol Hill

Gaetz invited an accused murderer -- and veteran -- to recite the pledge of allegiance before a committee meeting.

Gaetz could have searched Google to see that this person had a standoff with police after shooting and killing someone. But nope. Instead, Gaetz proudly proclaimed the guy is a member of his local gun club and invited him to Congress.

Once again, Republicans not being detail oriented and glorifying guns and killing.

I find it hard to believe that Gaetz’s staff didn’t know exactly who this guy was and what he is accused of doing.

Meh. This was a self-own on Gaetz’s part. Hate the guy but it sounds like he and his office were sufficiently contrite.
