Question about how to fill out form to accept HS Regional/Countywide program invitation

Anonymous
I have a simple question about filling out the the MCPS Regional and Countywide High School Response Form -Notice of Intent. It asks for email. Should we be writing in our child's official mcps email, with their ID number (or a parent email address)? I'm confused only because it immediately comes up with my kids official email address already (and gives the option to switch to a different account) and I'm wondering if they want a different email or for me to just reconfirm the kid's official MCPS email address again!

I'm probably overthinking this!

I put in my own email (when I filled it out five times). The MCPS email doesn’t accept messages from outside MCPS and they also ask for your kids ID so they will have their email anyway.

OP here: That's kind of what I was thinking! Wish it was more clear (I feel like on these sorts of important forms being overly precise in directions is a good thing!)

Did you all get an email confirming your choice or anything? I filled the form out yesterday and I'm worried about it not having gotten through. I just want some closed loop communication!

Didn’t get a confirmation, but they emailed me a copy of the google form with all our responses. If there’s an issue I figure I can always use it as proof of our responses.

Not to hijack, but since we’re talking about it…. My DC was invited to three programs, and so we submitted the google form three different times — once to accept his program of choice, and twice (once for each program) to decline the invites for the other two programs. Was that correct?

Yep. I ended up doing it five times and got a confirmation copy of the form for each one.

You should have a copy of your response sent to the email you listed.

Okay, I see you are all getting the emails saying the form got turned in. Sigh.

I filled it out again about half an hour again thinking maybe I messed something up the first time, and I still see nothing in my inbox or even in junk folder. I guess I'll try to hunt down a contact to call to see what is up.

I hadn't received anything either so I just filled it out again and this time I received a copy of the form in my email. Thank goodness for this post

I just filled them out and no confirmation email for any of them, acceptances or not. I'll wait until the morning and then try again or call.
