We just moved from FCPS, there is no NNAT and only Cogat test in LCPS. What is AAP equivalent of FCPS in LCPS, is there GBRS and teacher recommendations as well?

There is a gifted program but it is pull-out. To get in they create a portfolio: teacher recommendations, testing scores, and work samples. It's not like FCPS where 20-25% population gets in.

It’s really lame and nothing like AAP at all. You will be disappointed. Smart kids in LCPS do not get challenged until HS.
