Best commuter-ish parking lot next Friendship metro?

Anonymous
Thanks in advance... for complicated reasons I am looking to find a parking lot near the Friendship stop (or Van Ness or Tenley) that is relatively secure and painless to get in and out of, to then hop on the Red line downtown. Years ago I did this with the Bloomingdale lot -- came in early and parked right next to the escalator -- but wanted to see if others had ideas.

Aiming for no more than $12 a day but realize that may be low.

Normally I drive downtown (which is no doubt quicker) and do two stops, but we are looking into this to simplify the car pool route now that traffic is a pain downtown.

Sorry, that should be NEAR Friendship metro. Apologies.

There's a lot behind Rodman's that's extremely convenient to Metro and seems painless to get in and out of. No idea what it costs though.

I work in the office above the Whole Foods in friendship heights and the office is…. Often empty. I think parking for monthly folks is / was $250 pre pandemic. I often get a good spot.

Long way of saying I think you could ask them and maybe they’d cut a deal. Supply vs demand and all that

There are a lot of parking options. The most obvious are the Saks lot. The garage above Booeymomonger. The Whole Foods/Bloomingdale’s garage. There is also a garage under the old World Market and another garage under Maggianos.
