Recommendations for a fertility specialist in VA?

Anonymous
It looks like we are headed in this direction, and I am looking for any recommendations for fertility specialists in Northern Virginia (I live in Falls Church, but anything in NOVA would be okay). Thanks.

I am at Shady Grove and think they are wonderful. They have offices all over NOVA and have great facilities for Sat. and Sun appts. Unfortunately I have had 4 unsuccessful IUI's, but they are still so nice. I think their customer service is great. We're heading toward IVF this summer and I go to the DC office. Dr. Osborn is great there.

I too recommend Shady Grove. I use their Fair Oaks office, but go to the Annandale office on weekends or if my doctor is there when I need to go in.

dr suheil muasher in fairfax -- he has been a pioneer in the field. fabulous friendly staff. small organization so lots of personal attention.

I second Dominion Fertility in Arlington. We saw Dr. DiMattina primarily but also Dr. Gordon. Everyone in the office was great and we got pregnant on our very first treatment- with twins!

Shady Grove - Dr. Saffan - Shady Grove Annandale was great. A PP mentioned Dr. Muasher who I started w/ before switching. I would make sure he has back-up support now as I was twice cancelled for procedures b/c he was at a conference or on vacation, etc. There are pros and cons with smaller goups.

Highly recommend Dr. John Gordon at Dominion Fertility in Arlington, VA. He is the best. I did 1 IUI with him that failed but then 2 IVFs that worked. I have a 3 years old and 6 month old both from
Dominion Fertility practice. I loved this practice, they are very caring and always available to you.

Dominion Fertility. Dr. Gordon is just a wonderful guy! I'm AMA-he and I always talked before the u/s because we knew there might be a chance of not having a hb-it just made me feel better. After I had a bad nuchal fold-he was my rock. I did have a healthy baby boy-but there were times I thought I'd never get through the first 3 months.

Dr. Muasher is wonderful. Great staff. Very convenient location -- Route 50 & Prosperity Blvd. I never felt like I was in a baby factory -- the care was personal and caring.

i highly recommend Dr Nancy Durso in Alexandria (Inova bldg on Walker Lane off of Franconia). She and her staff are terrific! It took me many tries, and they stuck with me the whole time. I feel like her team is part of my extended family now. A VERY nurturing environment. Her nurse practioner Gail is the best! Oh, and although they are a small office, they never once cancelled anything on me. In fact, I was surprised at how willing they were to accomodate me with procedures on Saturdays and Sundays if that is what my body required.

I second this recommendation. His office is on the corner of Prosperity and Rte. 50. His wife (Lisa Muasher) is an OBGYN and her practice is in the same building. She delivered my baby. Highly recommend.
