I’ve never been- would you attend a birthday party solo with 2 kids (2 and 4)? I’ve heard it’s fairly stressful following the little ones around. I’ll skip if it’s going to be miserable. Thanks!
Your 4 year old should be fine on his/her own. There's a not so crazy area for toddlers where you can hang out with the 2 year old. I've done it a million time with two, and it's stressful because it's a kid warehouse and not a spa, but the kids love it.
Kid warehouse. Truer words never spoken.
Depends how much your kids will stay with the other kids in the party versus running off to explore something new. I don’t like it because I like to be able to see my kids, which is very difficult at Scramble. At 2 and 4, your kids will be some of the smallest kids there. Not my jam.
The falls church location is smaller so it's not too hard to keep an eye. I would be ok doing that, assuming your 4 yo can fairly independently.
It depends on the kid. My 4 year old was confident and pretty independent at that age, so he could play with other kids on his own and I could follow around a 2 year old if I had to. I know other 4 year olds would want mommy/daddy right behind them at all times and that would be tough with a toddler.
Those ages are tough. If your 4 year old is confidant, sure. But unless you want to follow the 2 year old, don't allow them to climb up into the madness. Have them stay on the ground floor.
I prefer to have line of sight to both kids so I’d try to get a sitter for the non-party-goer (assuming 2 year old) or would skip if that’s not possible.
